Description

We are pleased to present the Sol World Cup 2026, a pre-season football tournament designed to provide top-level preparation during the winter break. The tournament will take place at PFC Costa del Sol, between the last week of January and the first half of February 2026.

This event has been created in response to the growing demand for high-quality winter training in optimal conditions. Participating teams will enjoy:

One week of pre-season training camp
A minimum of 2 training sessions, 2 gym sessions, and 2 friendly matches
Natural grass pitches
Accommodation in a 4-star hotel exclusively for football teams
Each age group will feature 5 teams, and a trophy will be awarded to the champion.

The Sol World Cup will host teams in the U15, U17, and U20 categories from clubs in La Liga EA Sports and LaLiga Hypermotion, offering a unique opportunity for competition and development.

Hotel

Some of the sporting events and teams that have taken place at Holiday World Resort include Proyecto 675, led by former Spanish national basketball team players Berni Rodríguez and José Manuel Calderón. Other notable events include the Open CIBA 3×3 and the “Olé-Stars” match, which brought together athletes with functional diversity and prominent figures from the national sports scene, along with various football, handball, volleyball, and other teams.

Featuring communal outdoor pools and a children’s waterpark, Holiday World Resort is a 4-hotel compex located 5 minutes’ walk from the beach in Benalmádena. The resort also offers a gym and a spa with a range of treatments. Each air-conditioned room at Holiday World Resort comes with a flat-screen TV and terrace.

Holiday World Resort features a buffet restaurant, games room, bar and a nightclub with evening entertainment. There is also a hairdresser’s and a gift shop. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can organise car hire.

The resort also offers bike hire. Selwo Marina is 6 km from Holiday World Resort, while Benalmadena Marina is a 15-minute drive. Malaga Airport is 24 km from the property.

The PFC Center Cártama is Located to the west of Malaga near the technology park, our sports center is the best on the Costa del Sol. It is just 18 minutes from the airport, 18 minutes from the center of Malaga, and 25 minutes from Marbella.

Training and Tournament

The teams will have a week of training camp. With minimum 2 trainings, 2 session gyms & 2 matches.

This tournament was born out of the need to cover the winter preseason with a quality facility, featuring natural grass and a 4-star hotel exclusively for soccer teams.

La Liga EA teams and LaLiga Hypermotion team U15-U17-U19 teams also participate in the tournament.
